The CrankrUp Story.
CrankRup was born out of real hunting experience and an engineer’s mindset. After many years of hunting—and even owning hunting property—I realized I rarely had access to a proper meat pole when I actually needed one. Over time, I saw some incredibly well thought-out permanent meat pole setups that made lifting, lowering, and processing big game safe, controlled, and efficient. The problem was they were fixed in place and unavailable when hunting remote areas or new ground. I set out to create a solution that delivered the same strength, safety, and control of a permanent setup, but with the flexibility to go wherever the hunt takes you. That goal became CrankRup—a rugged, manual hoisting system designed by a hunter, for hunters, whorefuse to compromise on safety or control in the field.
Why WE Built It.
We built CrankRup because too many hunters are forced to improvise when it comes time to process big game. Despite owning hunting property and years in the field, having a reliable meat
pole was never guaranteed. Permanent setups work incredibly well—but only if you’re standing right beside them. CrankRup was designed to bring that same controlled lifting and lowering
capability into a portable system that works wherever you hunt. By combining proven mechanical principles with real-world hunting experience, we created a manual hoist that delivers safety, simplicity, and versatility without electricity, batteries, or guesswork. CrankRup exists to make big-game handling safer, easier, and more consistent, no matter where the hunt
ends.
